NOTICE UNDER SECTION 15(1) Oli1 THE U. P
AGBICULTUKAL INCOME TAX ACT,  1048

Assessment year 1955-56

1.    In pursuance of the provisions of section 15(1)
of    the    U.   P.    Agricultural     Income   Tax   Art,
1948,1, Ashwini Kumar, Collector of Pilibhit Diblnct
do hereby call upon every   person, firm, undivided
Hindu family, society, trust or association othov than
a  company  as  defined in the  Indian Income  Tax
Act,  19-22  (XT of 1922), whose Agricultural income
exceeds  Rs.4-,200   to   prepare   a  return   find   correct
statement of his  or its  agricultural income  during
the previous year beginning from July 1,   1954 r.-id
ending on June 30, 1955 in Form no. A. I. T. -3 and
to deliver the same, where the income exceeds one lakh,
at my office otherwise at the office of the Sub-Divisi-
onal Officer of tho sub-division in which such person,
firm,    undivided   Hindu   family,   society,   trust   or
association,  as tho  case may be, resides or  carries
on business or is  situate,  duly signed and verified
in the manner indicated in the said form by him
or it within   thirty-five   days   of  the publication of
this notice.

2.    The income if) be returned is tho " total agri-
cultural income11  as defined in section 2(16) of tho
U. P. Agricultural Income Tax Act, 1948.

3.    Th?  fot-m  contains  instructions  required for
the preparation of tho return.   If any further infor-
mation is desired,  it  can be obtained at the office
of tho  AflsoHPing   Officer   concerned.

1. If auy claim for depreciation is to be made,
iiocoayary particulars in form Annexure E to form
no. A. I. T.-3 should be furnished.

5. In accordance wii-h the provisions of section
29 of the Act a return should be furnished.

(a) la the case of a firm in form no. A. I. T.-lfl
showing the names of the partners of the firm
with their addresses;

(&) in the case of an undivided Hindu family
in form no. A. I. T.-ll showing the names of
the Manager or Karta along with the nanifto
of all adult male members of the family with
their relationship and their addresses; or

(c) iu form no. A. I. T.-12 showing the names
of any persons for or on behalf of whom you are
a trustee, Mutawalli, guardian, agent or represen-
tative with their addresses.
i).    If you aro submitting the reUmi for the first
time it should bo accompanied by a declaration in
form no. A. I. T.-2  indicating the option as to   the
method  of   computation  of   your   income   under
section 6.

NOTE—The forms apecified above can be had from tho office
of the Assessing Officer concerned.

Assessment year 1955-56

1.    In pursuance of the provisions of section 15(1)
of   the  U.   P.    Agricultural    Income     Tax      Act,
J948, I. N. S. Panday. Collector of Rampur   District
to hereby call upon every person,  firm,    undivided
Hindu family,   tiociety3  trust  or   association    other
thp.n s. company    as defined in the Indian Income
Tax Act, 1922 (XI of 1922), whose agricultural income
exceeds   E.H. ,4,200   to  prepare  a  return   and   correct
statement  of his  or its Agricultural   income during
the previous year beginning from July 1,   1954 and
ending on June ',}(), 1955.   in form no. A. I. T.-3 and
to deliver the sr,me, where the income exceeds one
lack, at my office otherwise   at tho office of the Sub-
Divisional Officer of the Sub-division in which such
person, finn, undivided Hindu family, society, trust
or association, as the case may be, resides or carries
on business or is situate, duly signed and verified in
the manner indicated in the said form by him   or it
within thirty-five days of the publication of this notice.

2.    The  income  to   be  returned   is   the   " total
agricultural income " s.s defined in section 2(16) of
the U.  P.  Agricultural Income Tax Act, 1948.

3.    The form contains the instructions required for
the preparation  of the return.   If any further in-
formation is desired, it can be obtained at the office
of the Assessing   Officer  concerned.

4.    If any claim for depreciation ia to be made,
neceasaiy particuk.rs in form Annexure E to  form
no. A. I. T. -3 should be furnished.

5.    In accordance with the provisions of section
29 of the Act a return should be furnished.

(a) in the case of a firm in form no. AXT.-10
showing the names of the partners of the firm
with their addresses ;

(&) In the case of an undivided Hindu family
in form no. A. I. T.-ll showing the names
of the Manager or Karta along with the names
of all adults of the family with their relationship
0 nd their addresses ; or

(c)" in form no. A. I. T. 12 showing the names
of the persons for or on behalf of whom you are
a trustee, Muts-walli, guardian, agent or represen-
tative, with their addresses.

6.    If you are submitted the  return for  the first
time  it should   be .'ccompained   by   a   declaration
hi   form no.   A. I. T.-2 indicating the   option    as
to the method of computation of your income under
section 6

The forms specified above can bn had from the office of
the   Assessing Officer   concerned.
